How do I charge a fee after a rental, if it applies?

To charge a renter for a fee from your add-ons, you will suggest a change to the rental before midnight on the day the rental returns and select the applicable penalty fees from your add-ons.

To charge a renter for a variable fee, please send a receipt within 48 hours of the rental ending or when you receive a toll bill to support@rvrentals.com.

All possible post-trip charges must be in your listing for renters to see before booking. All fixed fees, for example, a disposal fee, should also be entered in the add-ons. Any variable charges, such as tolls, should be mentioned in the listing so that renters are aware of any financial responsibility during their trip.

Example: Cleaning fee

Listing - Enter fees into the Things to Know section.

Add-on - Be clear about the add-on being a post-trip charge.

Example: Refueling fee

Listing - Clearly list the expectations of your renter in the Things to Know section.

If you cannot add these fees to the booking before midnight on the day the rental ends, please email details of the penalty fees that need to be charged, with the completed rental forms, to support@rvrentals.com within 48 hours of the rental ending.

Note: Without completed rental forms or penalty fees present in your listing at the time of booking, claims may be denied.
